Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs; collaborate with technology and business teams to modernize platforms; participate in development, design, review, testing and deployment activities; manage day-to-day production operations for the FLEX(ible) Commissions Systems; implement effective platform monitoring, alerting, and dashboarding; Design, build, and maintain effective SLOs for all critical FLEX(ible) Commissions Systems processes, services, and APIs; Work with business teams, cross platform teams and data vendors to investigate/resolve all data and business rules issues; ensure platform stability by implementing all currency and security requirements and initiatives; implement all functional upgrades to the FLEX(ible) Commissions Systems platform; define and implement effective SRE, SAvE processes and methodologies; work with other technology teams to describe, remediate, provide long term solutions for all production impacting issues; work with FLEX(ible) Commissions Systems business and delivery teams to fully understand all changes being introduced into the production environment.

Salary: $139,464.00 - $160,800.00

What you have

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 60 months (5 years) of experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained. In the alternative, Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 36 months of experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained. Requires progressive, post-Bachelor’s related experience (5 years with Bachelor’s, or 3 years with Master’s), which must include some experience in each of the following skills: Java, J2EE, .Net, SQL, and Shell Scripting; Database and DB technologies (Oracle, DB2, and SQL Server); Batch processing tools and methodologies (Control-M, ESP, and Autosys); Mainframe/COBOL; Splunk, App Dynamics, and ITSI; Application/platform operations support methodologies (SRE, ITIL, and DevOps); and troubleshooting OS performance issues in UNIX (LINUX) and Windows environments.
