Details of the position include:

Location:Westfield, MA

Duration:13 weeks to start with likelihood of extension

Facility Type: Hospital

Openings:10-20 hours/week , 2-4 days/week

StartDate: Two weeks from offer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

+ + Complete comprehensive and standardized Speech/Language evaluations with diagnostic information included

• Complete comprehensive and standardized Feeding/Swallowing evaluations with diagnostic information included

• Create individualized treatment goals/objectives and data collection systems

• Provide consultation to and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team (e.g., BCBAs, Behavior Technicians, Teachers)

• Provide parent and caregiver training on strategies for generalization into the home and community settings

• Stay current with the most recent research/practice in Speech Language Pathology

Minimum Requirements:

• Meets the education and experience requirements for a Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech-language pathology

• Must hold a degree from an accredited school of Speech-Language Pathology?

• Current licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of assignment?

• One year of prior professional Speech Language Pathology experience preferred?

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Participation and completion of Amergis' Competency program when applicable

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
