Job Title: Communications & Training Specialist

Description & Responsibilities: This position is responsible for creating and providing writing expertise for Bank's IT organization's enterprise communication. Support and lead the IT organization's company-wide and business-specific communication initiatives, lead training programs and projects as well as create engaging and impactful content for employees and leaders. 50% of time: Communications This accountability comprises responsibilities to deliver consistent company-wide messaging and talking points to drive message consistency across the IT organization. Gauge employee readiness for integration changes & BAU adoption.

  • Ongoing execution of communications and change management interventions in support of integration goals and overall cultural alignment
  • IT onboarding approach and framework to support employees' transition.
  • Develop integrated onboarding approach and onboarding toolkit for IT employees.
  • Define governance structure and stage gate reviewers/approvers for each phase of onboarding 50% of time: IT Skills Assessment/Training and Onboarding Framework
  • Define and support IT learning paths for job families.
  • Define and support IT training program approach & recommendations to leverage on a go-forward basis.
  • Training / onboarding needs analysis to identify gaps in information and legacy knowledge.
  • Conduct benchmarking analysis to understand industry trends and inform IT skills taxonomy.
  • Conduct current state skills analysis to identify gaps in skills / capabilities required to support the future IT organization.
  • Define IT learning paths based on skills analysis and career paths / job families.
  • Provide recommendations and tools for the IT role-based training program to support career development Must have strong writing and editing skills and the versatility to be able to write executive speeches, talking points, press releases, audio/video scripts, marketing materials, web writing, social media content, and customer and employee communications.
