The Formulation Development Group of Regeneron Pharmaceutical Inc. at Tarrytown, NY is looking for a Sr. Associate Scientist . In this exciting role you will implement microbiological test methods for Regeneron toxicology and pre-clinical programs, aseptic support for drug product pilot lab fill/finish operations and In-use stability studies.

A Typical Day in the Role of a Sr. Associate Scientist Might Look Like:

• Performs studies/protocols for established R&D products and new products including microbiological special projects, challenge testing, stability testing, environmental monitoring and other non-specified test validations.

• Maintains microbiology lab inventory and routine housekeeping responsibilities (i.e. implementation of new equipment, methods, studies, etc.)

• Assists in the development of quality systems and SOPs for Microbiology programs in Formulation department.

This role requires a BS or MS Degree in Microbiology or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience. Extensive experience in USP 61/ 51 testing of drug products, experience in assessment of drug product sterility, manufacturing processes and facilities for microbial risk are preferred. A strong understanding of applicable USP, ICH, and Ph Eur regulations related to Microbial testing is a plus.
