What youll do:This is NOT babysitting! We offer an enrichment program that provides kids with a safe, fun space to thrive, grow and learn! Youll have fun engaging kids in a variety of activities that stimulate their social, emotional, and physical development. Youll support young people in character development, discovering their passions, making good choices, and becoming independent.

What is the Y Academy?We are a state licensed childcare provider, offering before/after school care at 24 locations in Springfield and Clever. Our programs meet at the school sites.

Essential functions and responsibilities:

Implements programs within established guidelines.

Oversees the planning and coordination of new activities.

Provides feedback to Director on the success or shortfalls program

Maintains program site and equipment as needed.

Maintains required program records.

Builds and maintains positive, authentic relationships with diverse populations and people from different backgrounds.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Non-negotiables:

Must like kids!

Ability to obtain a clean background check.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

CPR, First Aid, AED certifications within 30 days of joining our team - We Provide the training!

Ability to respond to emergency situations at any time - we provide the guidance for this too
