Description Accountant Ecumen is hiring an Accountant to join our Finance team. The Accountant is responsible for general accounting duties including, but not limited to, preparing, maintaining, analyzing, and reconciling general ledger accounts. This position also provides accounting support for assigned Ecumen-owned facilities. Essential Job Responsibilities: Participates in month-end close process by reviewing and analyzing data, performing account reconciliations and related journal entries for assigned accounts including, but not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, etc. Maintains detailed supporting schedules or workpapers. Partners with other Accounting team members to provide accounting support for assigned facilities. Assists with implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures in compliance with GAAP. Provides support for external audits. Accountant Minimum Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration Experience: 1-2 years of related accounting experience Experience with enterprise resource planning systems (ERP) and related technologies Microsoft Office experience; basic to intermediate Excel skills Knowledge of G.A.A.P.
