Robert Half Talent Solutions is representing a client in Scranton, Pennsylvania that is offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant to join a leading organization. This role is integral to our operations and plays a pivotal role in our revenue accounting processes. The Sr. Accountant will be expected to handle both B2C and B2B revenue accounting for all brands, including A/R and Deferred Revenue.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee revenue accounting for both B2C and B2B operations across all brands, which includes A/R and Deferred Revenue

• Implement proper checks and balances to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper cut-off reporting

• Conduct clear reconciliations on Revenue, Lifetime Receipts (LTRs) to GL/Bank Cash, A/R, and Deferred Revenue to ensure accuracy of account balances

• Facilitate monthly revenue recognition reviews

• Support systematic solutions for revenue recognition reporting

• Handle foreign exchange translation accounting

• Responsible for monthly and quarterly financial statement preparation for all entities and consolidations

• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP in everyday tasks and responsibilities.

Requirements • Possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the field of accounting

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations

• Demonstrable experience with General Ledger management and Journal Entries

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial modeling

• Well-versed in performing Month End Close procedures effectively and efficiently

• Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP accounting software is desired

• Must display strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with other departments and stakeholders

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA would be an advantage.
