The Siemens Industry, Inc. distribution center in Roebuck, SC is seeking a Waste Treatment Operator to be an integral member of a diverse and dynamic team. As a Waste Treatment Operator, you will:

• Perform analyses, recording measurements/actions in applicable record logs.

• Recognize unusual, inefficient, or dangerous operating conditions and be able to take immediate actions.

• Inspect equipment and perform routine cleaning/preventive maintenance.

• Keep work area neat and organized.

• Monitor and regulate waste treatment discharge to align with all applicable regulations.

• Ability to keep working relationships, communicate effectively and work with minimum supervision.

You will have impact if you have the following minimum qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience in manufacturing environment for +1 year.

• Preferred experience in Physical Chemical Waste Treatment Process (1-3 years).

• Current license in physical chemical wastewater treatment.

• Knowledge of process chemicals; dangers associated with safely handling hazardous chemicals.

• Solid understanding of operation, methods, and procedures of waste treatment.

• General arithmetic

• Reach, grasp, lift 50 lbs, and push/pull/slide heavy material

• Make coordinated movements of the hands and arms to grasp and move objects.

• Stoop, bend, squat, crawl, and climb

• Speak, read, write and comprehend the English language

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ideal candidate will have a degree in science. Waste treatment license “D” or higher with “A” being preferred.
