We are offering a long-term employment opportunity for an attentive and meticulous Bookkeeper in the Financial Services industry, based in Richmond, Virginia. This role requires you to manage customer credit applications and records, monitor credit accounts, and handle collection-based calls in a detail oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer credit applications in a timely and precise manner

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records

• Monitor customer credit accounts and initiate appropriate action for delinquent payments

• Handle accounts payable and receivable duties, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Manage payroll operations, ensuring all employees are paid correctly and on time

• Conduct light collection based calls in a detail oriented manner

• Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting tasks

• Perform account reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial records

• Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to maintain smooth financial operations

Requirements • Proficiency in QuickBooks software

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation

• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Prior experience in the Financial Services industry

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively

• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.
