Summary:The Hot Works Service Technician position performs a variety of semi-skilled and skilled tasks in commercial kitchens, repair/replacement and maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment. Work requires exercising technical independence in determining appropriate work methods and procedures. Assignments are received thru electronic communication, orally, or through written instructions. This position reports to the Service Operations Manager and is eligible for overtime.Compensation: $40.54 per hour plus benefits package - union or non-union membership option available
What You Will Be Doing:
Able to fulfill requested dispatched service calls to customer’s satisfaction
Compile completed field service work order data for invoicing
Knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment
Proficient in trouble shooting and repair of emergency equipment issues
Collaborate as necessary with Service Operations Manager to complete service calls
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction of completed job prior to vacating facility
Monitor and inspect equipment to identify necessary maintenance, improvements, and repairs
Fulfill any other requested service needs with the goal of supporting the department
Markets: Health Care Services, Hospitality, High Rises, Property Management, Retail, Grocery and Restaurant experience recommended
Maintains a good Driving Record
Perform additional tasks needed due to support the business

Education/Experience:
Proven successful commercial kitchen cooking equipment experience
High school diploma/GED preferred
Must possess a valid driver license
Preferred Oregon and Washington electrical licenses
Preferred EPA certification

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

The employee is constantly required to drive, stand, walk; climb, crawl, sit, crouch and use hands to, handle, grip or feel
Ability to drive an automobile and a valid driver’s license
