Benchmark all engineering processes against best practices. Establish and maintain equipment standards, mistake proofing standards, and functional test standards. Participate in continuous improvement and six sigma projects. Create and maintain records of proposed manufacturing processes, including tooling and equipment line-ups and labor content. Work with plant mechanical engineering in the purchase of third-party equipment. Perform product feasibility reviews and approvals with cross functional team CFT.
