Sartorius North America Field Service Engineer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Reference #: R31259 As the Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering the desired customer service experience. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases profitability.

What you will accomplish together with us:

You will provide service and customer support during field and inhouse visits or dispatches.

You will manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks.

You are able to diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.

Produce timely and detailed service reports.

Ensure the timely and correct documentation of processes.

You are able to operate vehicle in a safely manner and use field automation systems.

You will follow all company's filed procedures and protocols.

Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization.

Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations / briefings.

You will contact customers concerning processes of the customer file.

You have the ability to build positive relationships with customers.

What will convince us:

Bachelor's degree in an Electrical/Electronic discipline, minimum of an Associate's degree or equivalent combination of industry experience and technical/military training.

You have 2+ years of proven field service experience.

Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment.

You are Team spirited and have high customer orientation.

Familiarity with mobile tools and applications.

You posse excellent organizational and communication skills (both written & verbal) are essential to meet the requirements of this role.

You have familiarity with automation platforms (i.e., Allen-Bradley, Emerson, and Siemens) is a plus.

You are proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Visio.

LIFTING - Exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently to lift and move objects.
