Description

Mid-size law firm in the East Bay has an immediate opening for an Associate Attorney! This Associate Attorney will join the employment law group and work directly under a Partner. As an Attorney in this group, you'll be assigned projects throughout all phases of the litigation lifecycle from developing case strategy through trial preparation. If you're looking to join an established firm and grow your employment law experience, this is the position for you! The ideal candidate will have 4-10+ years of civil litigation experience in an attorney capacity and be able to work on-site in Oakland, CA on a hybrid basis!

Responsibilities

• Drafting various legal documents including motions, memos, briefs, etc.

• Discovery management

• Legal research

• Preparation for depositions, mediations, and trial

• Developing case strategy

• Projects as assigned

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• 4-10+ years of civil litigation experience in an attorney capacity

• Employment law experience is preferred but not required

• Active CA Bar licensed

• Ability to work on-site in Oakland, CA on a hybrid basis

• Able to handle multiple assignments, work well under pressure, and have the flexibility to assist the team in meeting client demands on accelerated schedules

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Must possess analytical, legal research and writing skills
