Description

Specialty retailer, located in the Philadelphia Suburbs seeks a HR Specialist with distribution and or manufacturing experience. In this role, the HR Specialist will be responsible for enforcing company policies and practices, assisting with performance management, employee relations, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. The ideal candidate for this role should have thorough understanding of general human resources policies/procedures and employment-related laws and regulations, proven knowledge of HR software systems, and the ability to multitask and pivot in a fast-paced environment.

· Handle internal employment-related inquiries

· Implement new hire orientation

· Process bi-weekly payroll

· Complete employee verifications

· Full Cycle Recruiting

· Credit Card Reconciliation

· Maintain knowledge of new technologies in human resources

· Track compensation documentation

· Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws

· Maintain employee files and records

Requirements

The ideal HR Specialist MUST have a Bachelors degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.

Other requirements for the HR Specialist role include and are not limited to:

· 3+ years of proven experience as a Human Resource Generalist

· MUST have recruiting experience

· Payroll experience a big plus

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
