- This role will introduce a candidate to the fundamentals of instrument development within Siemens Healthineers.
· The candidate will work closely with a senior engineer to understand customer requirements and design solutions that meet the market need
· This is an entry level position reporting to an Mechanical Engineering Manager with the Lab Diagnostics Business
Design simple to moderate parts and assemblies with CAD (NX)
Perform tolerance analysis of simple assemblies under the guidance of senior engineer
Help create test plans and design test fixtures for the purpose of design evaluation
Participate in technical design review
Participate in Vendor Selection
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Required Education: HS Diploma, Working towards a degree in mechanical or mechatronics engineering
Required past experience : none
Basic understanding of 3D modeling

Experience with Siemens NX
Experience with part fabrication
Experience with mechanical simulation tools (Matlab, Ansys, Simulink)
