What you will do:

  • Assist in the daily processing of the Participation / Syndication loans and work with partner institutions on remittance processing.
  • Perform ongoing maintenance with the Participation/Syndication loans, maintaining all updates and changes.
  • Share Participations and Syndications best practice knowledge with the team, while assisting the team with daily questions and tasks.
  • Provide delegate support to the Participations and Syndications Manager.
  • Provide thoughtful insight and assist the Participations and Syndications Manager with strategic direction to improve loan processing services for the benefit of the customer and the Bank.
  • Assist in the development of plans to identify, source, and implement industry best practices and processes.
  • A dedicated focus on new loan onboarding of Participation and Syndicated notes and sub-notes.
  • Work with the participating institutions to ensure accuracy and reconcilement of loan accounts across all channels. Keep accurate records and perform ongoing reconcilement of Participation and Syndicated loans.
  • Administer direct loan input, verification procedures, and record retention for all loan processing items.
  • Work with internal Loan Operations team members to ensure accuracy of data on all loan accounts across all channels of our loan portfolio.
  • Collaborate and successfully communicate with the other areas of Loan Operations to maintain knowledge of all processes across the Operations organization and assist in resolving any questions across teams.
  • Additional tasks as assigned by Loan Operations Management.

What do you need?

  • 5-7 years' experience within Loan Operations and/or Bank Operations required.
  • 3-5 years' experience working in Participation and Syndication loans required.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and legal documents.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Influential mentor, communicator, and trainer.
  • Ability to provide excellent internal and external customer service and loan servicing skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritizing skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding, and rapidly changing environment.
  • Work a minimum 40-hour work week with flexibility to work longer hours when needed. This will be a requirement for last business day of each month and last business day of the calendar year.
  • Ability to be present at Malvern office location in a hybrid work environment, currently Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays.

Technology Skills:

  • Advanced experience with CORE banking systems--IBS Core banking xperience preferred.
  • Proficient with Finastra LaserPro loan document management solution, or similar Documentation platform.
  • Proficient with Salesforce applications.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficient with nCino?cloud banking platform.
  • Willingness to embrace and learn the advantages AI technology can bring to Customers Bank.
