Actalent Construction Safety Manager in Malta, New York

Description:

Specialty Contractor with projects at GlobalFoundaries, Cree and SUNY NFR (Ualbany campus).

Examples of types of projects:

1) Exterior Cladding

2) Clean room Wall Systems and Raised Floor (Architectural)

3) Rigging (Tool Delivery into the fab)

4) Base install / Raised Metal Floor

Our client is currently looking for a Site Safety Manager. The Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing the construction trades personnel on site. Must be able to run tool box meetings and coordinate specific training when necessary. Will interact with the GC's on site and the PMO as well.

Top Skills Details:

OSHA 500,CHST,industrial construction

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3 years of Construction Safety is required to attain a CHST

  • Building Construction Required

  • Experience with Mechanical Trades Preferred

  • OSHA 500 required

  • CHST highly preferred
