The Security Manager will be responsible for overseeing the physical security operations at ISCO Industries' headquarters in Louisville, KY and facilities in North America. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining security protocols, managing security personnel, and ensuring a safe and secure environment for employees and visitors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Risk Assessment: Assess potential security threats and develop strategies to mitigate these risks, ensuring the protection of company assets, as well as the safety of employees.
  • Policy Development: Create and implement security policies, procedures, and standards in line with industry practices and regulatory requirements, ensuring that all aspects of the company's operations are secure against threats.
  • Incident Response: Develop and oversee an incident response plan that includes identification, investigation, and resolution of security breaches or violations. Ensure that any incidents are documented and that lessons are learned to improve future security.
  • Security Systems Management: maintain security systems such as surveillance, alarms, access controls, and cybersecurity measures. Ensure that these systems are regularly updated and functioning correctly.
  • Compliance and Audits: Ensure that security practices are compliant with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Conduct or oversee regular audits, report on security posture, and partner with Human Resources as needed
  • Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver security training and awareness programs for employees to ensure that they are knowledgeable about the company's security protocols and the role they play in maintaining a secure work environment.
  • Vendor Management: Work with vendors and third-party service providers to ensure that they meet the company's security requirements and that their practices do not introduce vulnerabilities.
  • Crisis Management: In the event of a crisis or emergency, the Security Manager leads the response efforts, ensuring the safety of personnel and continuity of operations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and update the security strategy to adapt to the changing threat landscape and incorporate new technologies and best practices.
  • Technology Familiarity: Proficient with the Microsoft suite and comfortable using modern technology when interfacing with security, access control, and camera systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, information security or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a security leadership role.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing security protocols.
  • Professional Security Certification, e.g. Certified Protection Professional (CPP).
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to security.
