Job Description

An employer in the tribal gaming industry is looking for a Data Analyst to join the team in San Diego. The Data Analyst will provide business unit managers and executives with financial and business reports and analysis, reviews and ensures data integrity and reliability. About 40% of this person's day will be spent assisting the Enterprise Analytics team by reviewing data integrity, ensuring appropriate analytics data is available for reporting, data loads from source systems are completed, and scheduled reporting tasks occur as planned. The remaining 60% will be more project based--this person will interact with teams ranging from IT, to Finance, to HR, or even table games/slots.

Skills and Requirements

• 2+ years of creating complex data analysis utilizing industry standard tools such as SPSS, SAS, or Tableau

• Proven experience working with large data sets and on large data transformations for analysis and consolidation

• 2-3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst

• Bachelor's Degree in Math, Statistics or Finance or related field or equivalent experience - Experience in a gaming or hospitality environment

• Experience utilizing big-data analytics tools such as Hadoop, Workday or Teradata null
