The Digital Aviation Sales Manager is responsible for pipeline development, demand generation, and sale of software elements within Siemens Logistics’ Digital Aviation Portfolio. The ideal candidate should have a strong, working knowledge and experience within the Airport IT industry, with strong working knowledge of airport operations and digital transformation strategies.

Work Location : US-Based; Remote

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Demand Creation and Pipeline Development of Digital Aviation opportunities focused on Siemens Logistics’ Software Portfolio.

• Management Opportunities from Development to Award Decision

• Development of strategic industry partnerships

• Coordination of internal bid approval and final client proposal creation.

• Travel up to 50%.

• 15% International Travel

Required Skills :

• Successful Consultative B2B Sales History

• Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite

• Salesforce or similar CRM experience

• Documented history of Opportunity Development through Demand Generation

• Solid understanding of High-Level Control solutions in Baggage Handling and Cargo Handling (preferred)

• Baggage Handling / Airport IT Experience (preferred)

• Software as a Service (SaaS) Sales Experience (preferred)

Qualifications :

• BS/BA in related discipline or advanced degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 4+ years of experience in related field and demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge.

• Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.

• The pay range for this position is $104,400 - $179,000. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
