Overview:

As a Senior Interior Designer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping quality environments for multifamily housing, retail, and mixed-use developments. Your expertise will drive design from conceptual to schematic stages, ensuring alignment with branding and budget constraints. Collaborating with technical teams, you’ll translate design intent into technical sets, leveraging your knowledge of finish materials and fabrication techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Design Efforts:

• Drive design efforts from conceptualization to design development.

• Generate design concepts, sketches, space plans, floor plans, and 3D models.

• Develop strong concepts aligned with branding and demographics.

• Creatively utilize affordable materials for impactful results.

• Collaboration:

• Collaborate with architects, consultants, and vendors to execute design vision.

• Provide excellent customer service and build trust with clients.

• Be willing to travel for project-related responsibilities.

• Skills:

• Proficiency in Revit, architecture, residential design, interior design, and hospitality.

• Experience in contract administration, architectural design, and quality control.

• Familiarity with redlining, architectural drawing, and budgeting.

• Knowledge of high-rise residential design and multi-family construction.

• Ability to express design ideas through narrative, graphics, and verbal communication.

• Skilled in programming, space planning, and visualization.

• Familiarity with custom fabrication and sourcing materials.

• Proficiency in tools like SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Enscape 3D.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Interior Design, preferably in hospitality and multifamily.

• Proficiency in SketchUp, Revit (CAD experience acceptable), and Adobe Suite.

• Interior Architecture / Interior Design Degree from a CIDA accredited University.

• Familiarity with large-scale projects, including high-rise and mid-rise multifamily, affordable housing, and mixed-use.
