Job Title: Manager, Strategic Initiatives - Walmart Marketplace

Walmart Marketplace is a dynamic part of our eCommerce portfolio, continually growing and adapting to meet customer needs with a broad assortment of products from third-party sellers. As the Manager of Strategic Initiatives, you will play an instrumental role in guiding our growth trajectory. By identifying opportunities and developing strategies, you will help us harness the potential of the market and shape the future of our business.

You have strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex market data and perform competitive analysis

You are proactive and thrive in constantly evolving, fast-paced, dynamic environment

You have a proven track record of strategic thinking and can build business cases to support business growth opportunities

You are comfortable with ambiguity and operating in a gray space and can make sound decisions with limited information

You have a knack for thinking outside the box to identify innovative opportunities to business growth

You help launch growth initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams to inform new tests, launch new initiatives, and establish success metrics and reporting.

You'll Make an Impact By:

Leading the development and execution of strategic initiatives that drive growth and competitive advantage

Conducting comprehensive competitive analysis to identify potential threats and opportunities

Assisting with long-range planning to ensure our business aligns with projected market trends and consumer demands

Building compelling business cases for potential opportunities and presenting them to stakeholders

Utilizing various tools and resources to gather data, analyze trends, and develop strategies

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, economics, finance, or related disciplines. An MBA is desirable.

Extensive experience (3-5 years) in strategy and business consulting is preferred.

Experience in eCommerce and online Marketplaces is highly desirable.

Experience leading discussions with a cross functional audience (category, channel, Finance)

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or related field or 4+ years of experience in retail planning, strategy, finance, or related area.
