JOB REQUIREMENTS: Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus. Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products or materials or hooks tow trucks to trailer hitch, and transports loads to designated area. Loads and/or unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device. Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids or lifting device. Lubricates truck, recharges batteries, fills fuel tank, or replaces liquefied gas tank. Uses the computer to identify and locate product. Uses RF equipment to scan labels and read instructions. Weighs materials or products and records weight on tags, labels. Handles shipping and receiving paperwork of incoming and outgoing trucks. Inventories materials on work floor, and supply workers with materials as needed. Operates baler to bale cardboard waste for transport. Performs shipping and receiving duties, cycle counts, and location checks per standard operating procedure. Determines work procedures and expedites work flow. Adjusts errors and complaints with the assistance of the Shift Lead. Performs Spotter duties as required: Moves trailers in parking lot using the shuttle truck directed by portable radio Shuttles trailers to other nearby locations Organizes shuttle lot Other duties may be assigned. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
