The Department of Health, Division of Laboratory Improvement, is looking for a Clerical Assistant 3 to serve as a key member to the organization's mission of licensing and regulating clinical laboratories within the Commonwealth. DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Clerical Assistant 3, you perform work processes and procedures as trained to ensure efficient and accurate processing and management of paper and electronic records related to state and federal licensure of over 9,500 clinical laboratories. You utilize independent judgement to determine the accuracy and completeness of submitted documentation and take action to remedy problems.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. Telework eligibility begins after training is completed and you meet the benchmarked skills level. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Exton. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Please check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title); or One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
