JOB DESCRIPTION:
SAIC is seeking an experienced Program Planner/Coordinator to provide targeted support for a training program that focuses on preparing technical officers for overseas deployments. The successful candidate must be a self-starter who is comfortable supporting officers and activities in a training environment. This position may require occasional travel around the WDC area. The primary duties for the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Support development of course content with Instructional Designers and Program Integrators to implement learning resources on the Customer system to include continuous learning modules, WBT development, HIVE, and Moodle integration.
Manage course training equipment to include specific Customer tools and COTS tools; ensure equipment is routinely updated through software and hardware changes; ensure equipment is maintained before, during, and after each course running to ensure it remains operational; ensure equipment is properly tracked via Customer reporting system; and test new equipment to ensure it is functional prior to integration with the course. Act as Accountable Property Officer; ensure proper tracking, transfer, disposal, and inventory of equipment.
Support training course execution to include maintaining schedules, role-player management, and handling facilitation guides.
Perform ad-hoc course administrative duties to include facilitating student enrollment; tracking and managing course materials such as grading, assignments, and instructor materials; working with the training program chief to provide support to current field officers to include ongoing needs assessment surveys and communication with the field about new capabilities.
Provide office support such as ordering supplies, answering administrative queries, submitting access requests via Customer systems, acting as T&A timekeeper, maintaining training and conference room calendars, managing group email addresses, and updating phone cards.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Current TS/SCI clearance with full-scope polygraph.
Bachelor’s Degree (four years of relevant experience may substitute in lieu of a degree) and (14) years or more of related experience. Masters and (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and (9) years or more experience.
Successful experience supporting multiple branches and customers in an active Customer space.
Ability to work independently, show initiative, and identify and implement solutions to issues as they arise.
Outstanding coordination skills and ability to build strong customer and external relationships, along with a high comfort level managing multiple requirements.
Experience using MS Office applications and other tools to support and track Customer activities.
