Are you currently looking for a new position? A company in the Information Technology industry has partnered with Robert Half to find an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. The Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk role offers an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of a company in the Information Technology industry. This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be located in the Cary, North Carolina area and will be a long-term contract position. In this influential department, there is a possibility for further career growth and advancement. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be required to match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.

How you will make an impact

• Assist with internal and external audits as needed

• Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling

• Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department

• Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it

• Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed

• Perform full-cycle A/P

• Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners

• Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

• Carry out additional projects as required

  Requirements - AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

• Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

• Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

• Spreadsheet and database capabilities

• Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

• Foundational knowledge in numeric data entry

• Computer Data Entry experience preferred

• Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired

• Proficiency in data entry
