    Location : Canton, MA

    Pay Range : $24 to $26 per hour depending upon qualifications and experience

    The main function of the Administrative Assistant is to provide administrative support to all Program Department staff and Officers by a high degree of professionalism, accuracy, judgment, and confidentiality. Administrative duties will include but not limited to: answer and direct phone calls, sort and open office mail and place in appropriate inboxes, perform general clerical duties (photocopying, faxing, filing, credit card reconciliation, etc), keep inventory and process requests for office supplies, maintain routine reports and statistics, and submit timesheets to payroll on bi-weekly basis.

    Qualifications & Experience

  • High School Diploma, College/Business School Graduate preferred

  • 4-5 years’ experience working in related field

  • Must be flexible and have ability to handle multiple departments

  • High level of confidentiality, discretion, and judgment

  • Requires a high level of computer expertise related to Microsoft Applications - Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.

  • Must have excellent organizational skills

  • Must be able to communicate effectively in a warm, gracious, and professional manner

  • Requires a high degree of initiative; highly detail oriented and organized; and able to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated skills in written correspondence and verbal communication. Excellent interpersonal skills, able to relate professionally and effectively with key internal and external constituencies including fellow staff, volunteers, donors, and board members.

  • Must be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
