Albert Einstein College of Medicine Research Coordinator (Arts Therapy) in Bronx, New York

Coordinate research and program implementation and evaluation activities within the Department of Family and Social Medicine and the delivery of community health and wellness programs for the Department and the Healing Arts Program. Specifically, under the direction of the Principal Investigator, draft study questionnaires and data collection tools; finalize research protocols. Assists with writing, preparing, and submitting grant applications and manage Institutional Review Board approval process. Train, coordinate and oversee project personnel. Retrieve and analyze clinical and population-level data on health indicators and outcomes. Assist with research/study development including logistics, site visits, background material for grants, interviews, and administering study instruments pertaining to community health and the department's practice-based research network (NYC RING). Coordinate community health and wellness programs, including grief and loss workshops for caregivers, self-care and wellness programs, and the Healing Arts Program. Some telecommuting allowed.Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy, Art Therapy, or a closely related creative therapy field + 24 months of experience in any occupation involving creative art therapy.
