Watauga Hospitality Associates Breakfast and Catering Supervisor in Boone, North Carolina

Breakfast Supervisor and Catering Manager General Overview The main responsibilities of a Breakfast Supervisor are to ensure that our guests receive exceptional services when enjoying our complimentary breakfast and all catering and group orders. The ideal candidate for the role has a warm and caring personality, leads by example, and is always ready to support the team. This position reports to our Director of Operations and is a critical leader on our team. This team member will work closely with our Sales team to plan and execute catering events for our meeting room. Mentorship opportunities and pathways for growth exist for those candidates interested. Qualifications: • You are 18 years of age or older • ServSafe Food Safety Manager Creditional (recommended) • TIPS/ABC (recommended) MUST BE ABLE TO PASS DRUG TEST & BACKGROUND CHECK!! Compensation: • $12-15/hr, based on availability and experience • Tipped position • Quarterly Bonus Program for meeting budget and service goals • Bonus Program for Health Inspection and Brand Inspection Excellence • Monthly Cell Phone Reimbursement Check • Health Insurance after one year • PTO after one year Work Environment and Scheduling • 35-45 HR work week with Wednesdays Off • Mon - 5 am to 11 am • Tues - 5 am to 12 pm • Wed - OFF • Thurs - 5 am to 11 am • Fri - 5 am to 12 pm • Sat - 5 am to 12 pm • Sun - 5 am to 12 pm Duties And Responsibilities: • Setting up and breaking down each morning's breakfast buffet • Cooking food and replenishing throughout service, ensuring buffet items and coffee bar remain well-stocked • Maintaining the safety and appearance of the buffet area and cleaning the area in preparation for the next day. • Provide a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere to guests. • Inventory - Responsible for ordering and maintaining breakfast/catering inventory • Brand Standards - Responsible for adhering to Hilton Brand Standards, attending all webinars, and updating offerings as directed • Health Department - Responsible for adhering to all county regulations and food safety requirements. • Staffing - Responsible for maintaining a department with 3-5 team members; this includes scheduling, reviewing, and hiring. • Other duties may be assigned by management at their discretion.
