TheT-Ball FieldSupervisorprovides oversight during youth T-Ball practices and games, assuring quality programming in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that promotes learning and wellness.

  • Supervises activities at site(s) and enforces game and venue polices to ensure safety and welfare of members and participants.
  • Supervises volunteer coaches and actively seeks out teamsandcoachesthat need assistance during practice. Provides one-on-one support and positive feedback. Assists coaches and teams with practice by being helpful with various drills and practice activities.
  • Organizes, distributes and returns equipment at practices and on game days, including set up and take down. Picks up and drops off program equipment and supplies and returns them to the YMCA. Reports and monitors mechanical and equipment issues, reporting needed repairs to Sports Director.
  • May assist with supervising Sports Officials or serving as a Sports Official as needed.
  • Helps to clean up trash after each shift and ensures cleanliness of venueand equipment.
  • Builds effective, authentic relationships with participants, parents and volunteer coaches; helps them connect with each other and the YMCA.
  • Attends required staff meetings and training.

Part Time, Shifts Available, June 4th-July 18th:

  • Tuesday and Wednesday, 5:00 pm-7:45pm (Practice)
  • Thursday, 4:15 pm-8:45pm (Game)
