Oracle Oracle Banking Functional Consultant in BENGALURU, India

Job Description

As a Consultant specializing in corporate transaction banking, you will support our team in delivering high-quality services to our clients, with a focus on payments, virtual accounts, and liquidity management solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong interest to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Primary Skill Sets:

  • Good Knowledge and understanding of VAM and Payments, Experience in working with such systems across geographies, particularly JAPAC.

  • Understanding of virtual account structures and their applications in banking.

  • Ability to design and configure virtual account solutions to meet business requirements.

  • Good understanding of Payment processing lifecycle, Payment systems like – ACH, RTGS, and Real-time.

  • Cross border and its corresponding VA allocation and reconciliation

  • Good knowledge of MT, PACS, and CAMT messages with implementation experience.

  • Creation of Functional and Design Documents.

  • Documenting Business Requirements/mapping process steps in detail.

  • Ability to manage global and regional senior stakeholders. Strong stakeholder management & communication skills.

  • Produce User Documentation including user guides, system configuration documents, business process workflows, etc.

  • Relevant banking experience in a commercial bank along with IT experience will be an added advantage.

  • OBPM and OBVAM product knowledge will be an added advantage.

  • Qualification: Bachelor's degree.

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field Master's degree or professional certifications is a plus.

  • 8+ years of experience in corporate transaction banking, with a focus on payments, virtual accounts, and liquidity management.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

  • Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

  • Professional certifications or coursework related to transaction banking or financial analysis would be an asset.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Client Support: Assist senior consultants in engaging with clients, gathering requirements, and providing support on transaction banking solution implementation.

Analysis and Solution Development: Analysis and support the design and development of payments, virtual account, and liquidity management solutions for clients, under the guidance of senior team members.

Project Coordination: Support project managers in coordinating project activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing project documentation, and tracking deliverables to ensure timely project completion.

Industry Research: Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies in corporate transaction banking, and contribute insights to client engagements and thought leadership initiatives.

Documentation and Reporting: Assist in preparing client presentations, reports, and other deliverables, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client expectations and project objectives.

Learning and Development: Proactively seek opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills in transaction banking through on-the-job learning, training programs, and self-study, and apply learnings to support project work.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including consultants, analysts, and subject matter experts, to leverage collective expertise and deliver value to clients.
