Amazon Sr. Supply Chain Manager, Sub Same Day Delivery in Bellevue, Washington

Description

Rapid and Rural Logistics (R2L) is the team that powers worldwide operations for Sub-Same Day delivery (SSD), Amazon Today, and Rural expansion. We are at the forefront of ultrafast fulfillment innovation and are in the midst of building the next big thing.

You will be working as a member of the Supply Chain and Topology team supporting faster than same day delivery across North America. Our team owns topology and coverage optimization of our last mile fulfillment network, both for dedicated fulfillment centers and third-party retail locations. We also develop long-term strategies for expansion planning and innovative delivery models. The Sr. Supply Chain Manager is expected to deal with ambiguity, drive insights, and leverage strong problem-solving skills to lead critical business decisions. This role requires the ability to design sustainable solutions and collaborate across stakeholder teams including Retail, Finance, Tech, and Operations.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, or Master's degree

  • 5+ years of leading large complex programs experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Basic SQL knowledge

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
