Salary:                  $204,824/year to $240,240/year + bonus + equity + benefits.

Duties:

Help build the next generation of systems behind Facebook's products, create web and/or mobile applications that reach over two billion people, build high-volume servers, and be part of a team working to help people connect with each other around the globe. Code high-volume software using primarily C++ and Java. Create web applications using primarily PHP. Implement web interfaces using XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Build report interfaces and data feeds.

Requirements:

Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 2 years of experience in Job offered or in a related occupation.  Must have experience in the following: 1 .C, C++, C#, or Java;  2. Python, PHP, or Haskell;  3. Relational databases and SQL;  4. Software development tools: Code editors (VIM or Emacs), and revision control systems(Subversion, GIT, or Perforce);  5. Linux, UNIX, or other *nix-like OS as evidenced by file manipulation, advanced commands, and shell scripting;  6. Building performant solutions; 7. Applying algorithms and core computer science concepts to real world systems as evidenced by recognizing and matching patterns from different areas of computer science in production systems; and, 8. MATLAB.
