DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•Operate equipment as such to assure all work is performed without harm to equipment and people.

•Read work orders, production schedules and drawings to determine delivery requirements, quality specifications and requirements to complete the job.

•Study drawings and blueprints to determine scope of work and the best methods to complete the job.

•Keep Drawings & Travelers with parts at all times

•Deburr parts as needed.

•Assist the Shipping and Receiving Department in receiving and storing material

•Help move material around shop as needed

•Assist with maintenance or any in-house shop projects

•Assist with shop cleanliness and organization

•Assist any departments that may need another operator for production

•Any other duties assigned

SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGOUND

• Ability to read blueprints

• Good problem solving skills

• Knowledge of shop machines and procedures

• Team player

• Works well with others

• Dependable, prompt and able to prioritize work

• Willing to learn new things

• Ability to operate Fork Lift PREFERRED but not necessary
