ADP Client Tech Support Consultant III in Alpharetta, Georgia

NOTE: The selected applicant for this role will be expected to work within a hybrid work model (3 days per week onsite in the office, 2 days per week from home) in our Alpharetta, GA, office.

ADP is hiring a GlobalView Client Tech Support Consultant III. In this position, you will work to ensure activities are performed in a manner that meets ADP and/or client requirements while adhering to ADP standards. You will be responsible for providing 2nd level post-live issue resolution within Service Level Agreement timeframes - specifically investigation, solution identification, recommendation, configuration, unit testing and solution documentation. You will prepare functional specifications and change control requests, including design and configuration details. Additionally, you will test and document change control requests, all while providing consulting services to the ADP GlobalView client base. You will provide guidance on design and configuration of complex solutions as well as provide functional/technical expertise, develop and conduct lifecycle mini-project solutions, and deliver effective client communications and ticket management/resolution via Siebel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure that work delivered to the client is defect-free and in compliance

  • Manage client escalations and urgent/critical tickets to provide stellar service to clients

  • Manage/create root cause analyses (RCAs) for highly escalated issues and provide best practices

  • Act as subject matter expert for all the connectors (such as Oracle, Workday) and provide adequate solution to the client

  • Serve as team player and assist all our team members for any technical / non-technical / process / functional-related questions or queries

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

  • Participate as required in cross regional activities, workshops etc. aiming at sharing and improving on current processes and practices

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field of study plus 5 years of related experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and 2 years of related experience.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

  • 5 years of experience with SAP US Payroll Configuration

  • Experience analyzing the US payroll driver RPCALCU0

  • In-depth understanding and knowledge of US Payroll Processing Methodology

  • Data mapping expertise from Legacy data to SAP Employee Master data

  • Experience with creating documentation including business requirements, process flow and functional/technical specifications

  • Modification of pay slips using form editor

  • Experience with writing custom payroll calculation rules and updating the payroll schema to cater the business needs

  • Fluency in English (oral and written)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • SAP HCM Payroll certification with ERP 6.0 preferred

  • Strong client service orientation

  • Good analytical skills

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong initiative and enthusiasm

  • PC literate (Windows, Excel, Word)

  • Very good understanding of ADP applications, payroll procedures

  • Knowledge of ADP Interfaces and Connectors Preferred

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is $75,600.00 - $202,590.00 / Year
