We’re open Dayshift, Monday – Saturday from 7am – 6pm on the Albany Medical Center Main Campus.

Closed on major holidays.

In Apheresis & infusion, we provide a variety of therapies for patients from pediatrics to adults. Services provided include acute and chronic apheresis procedures, outpatient therapeutic phlebotomies/manual exchange transfusion, outpatient blood transfusions, immunoglobulin replacement, antibiotic infusion, monoclonal B infusion, research drug infusion, chemotherapy administration, and hydration.

Hourly Range: $19 - $23

The Patient Care Associate (PCA) will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse and are responsible for assisting in the delivery of patient care provided by the caregiving team. They ensure that competent, compassionate patient care is uniformly provided to customers. During the assigned work period, PCAs will bring patients from the waiting room, collect patient data, perform point of care testing (whole blood glucose monitoring), assist in moving patients, and stock clinical supplies for patient care. The Patient Care Associate also participates in the creation and maintenance of a clean, orderly, and safe environment of care. • Additional Education includes Basic Life Support and Pediatric Mock Codes
